The Gigi Hadid-ification of Bradley Cooper’s wardrobe is nearly complete. Over the previous year, the Oscar nominee—who began dating the stylish supermodel last fall—has emerged from his erstwhile leading-man chrysalis of solid-color T-shirts and tasteful slacks with new wings crafted from rare Air Jordans, “Girl Dad” trucker hats, and Guest in Residence cashmere. He looks both tapped in and happy.
On Wednesday, the actor-filmmaker turned up in an even crunchier iteration of his usual luxe-dad uniform while dropping off his young daughter Lea, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, at school in Manhattan. He wore an autumnal checked cashmere shirt from Hadid’s Guest in Residence brand with navy joggers from the California streetwear label Museum of Peace & Quiet and his favorite Air Jordan 4 ‘Taupe Haze’ kicks. These Jordans seem to be his go-to sneakers as of late, having paired them with tan cargos and a Kodak logo tee this past spring, and dressed them up (in an embroidered Wax London shirt and light-wash jeans) as well as down (in a navy tee and kick-around khakis) back in June.
Cooper accessorized with dark shades and a retro-style Pearl Jam trucker cap (!) from the band’s 2024 Dark Matter tour. He also carried a paperback book in his hand—which was fitting enough for the waning days of “Book Guy Summer,” though maybe next time he could level up once more and slip it into a cargo pocket.
