The Emmy Awards 2024 are here and…hold on, didn’t we do this already? Well, yes and no. Last September’s 75th Primetime Emmys were delayed until this January by the Hollywood strikes, which resulted in the unusual quirk of two ceremonies in the same calendar year. (As if the eligibility period rules weren’t already confusing enough.)
In any case, all this really means for all of us spectators is yet another chance to see TV’s biggest stars—from The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White and Mr. & Mrs. Smith‘s Donald Glover to Shogun‘s Hiroyuki Sanada and Ripley‘s Andrew Scott—dressed up to the absolute nines. That’s a big W any way you slice it. And, as always, your old pals at GQ will be here all night recapping every major fit as soon as they hit the carpet. Happy Emmy Awards 2024 night (again), everybody.
