Welcome to New York Fashion Week, where there’s just as much action off the runway as there is on it. On Tuesday night, GQ and Christian Louboutin welcomed guests to a NYFW bash in the basement of NoHo nightclub Jean’s. With its scarlet color scheme, the basement boîte was the perfect venue for the French footwear brand—red bottoms, you know?—to celebrate its new Astroloubi collection of ’90s-inspired basketball sneakers. You never know who’ll walk through your door when NYFW is popping, and last night was no exception. As bartenders poured up Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, Michael Gandolfini caught up with front row regulars Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage, while Thomas Doherty and Leon Bridges rubbed shoulders with Karrueche Tran. None other than Jeff Koons pulled up with his entire family in tow, holding it down in a corner of the dance floor as DJ Spinna packed the rest of the joint. As the hour grew late, an Astroloubi food truck slinging burgers and fries parked outside, which many partiers received as a godsend. After all, NYFW isn’t quite over yet.
