There’s nothing that Timothée Chalamet wouldn’t do, he’d go to the ends of the Earth for you, to make you feel his love for Bob Dylan. And, perhaps, to win an Oscar.
Indeed, the freewheelin’ actor has proven that he would brave the crowds at his own lookalike contest, ride a Lime Bike on a red carpet, resurrect True Religion jeans, and sing Dylan deep cuts on SNL, all in the name of promoting the Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. His portrayal of the titular troubadour has already earned him a nomination for best actor at the upcoming 2025 Academy Awards, but he’s not content to stop there. On Friday, Chalamet concluded the film’s formal press tour at the Berlin International Film Festival with yet another sartorial bang: a custom baby pink ensemble by the California brand Chrome Hearts, complete with leather trousers, a hand-dyed hoodie, and matching Timberland boots.

On the red carpet, Timmy stripped off the sweatshirt (a nod, maybe, to the pink Juicy Couture zip-up he once wore in the pages of GQ) to reveal a matching ribbed tank top and boxers, also in the same rosy Cam’ron-esque hue. As a fitting Valentine’s Day gesture, he carried a long-stemmed pink rose.
It was the proverbial cherry on top, exceeding even the already-bonkers standards the actor and his stylist Taylor McNeill—who made headlines earlier this week for dressing Kendrick Lamar in a pair of flared Celine jeans, which were allegedly originally intended for Chalamet, during his Super Bowl halftime show—had set for themselves in the past few months of the film’s antics-forward press tour. But while the race has, in a sense, reached its end, the scores have yet to be tallied. There is still one final podium to prepare for. We’ll see you back here on March 2 for Oscars night.
